Our Terms & Conditions


Additional Guests

No persons other than those quoted for and booked are permitted to share the accommodation provided at the 'Establishments'.

Cancellation Policy
Between 0-7days prior to arrival, 100% cancellation fee.
Between 7-14 days prior to arrival, 75% cancellation fee.
Between 14-21 days prior to arrival, 50% cancellation fee.
Between 21-28 days prior to arrival, 25% cancellation fee.

Check-in Time
Check-in time is from 13:00 until 15:30 pm. Late check-ins must please be arranged prior to arrival. Late check-ins may result in a forfeited afternoon game drive.

Check-out Time
Check-out time is at 11:00.

Children
Children of 2 years and older are welcome at Bucklands Lodge at 50% adult rate while babies are also welcome at Bucklands Lodge; baby-sitting services can be arranged with prior arrangement. Children 12 years and older are welcome at Bucklands Luxury Tented Camp and are charged at 100% adult rate.

Confirmation of Booking
The Terms and Conditions of a booking are deemed as being accepted on receipt by Bucklands Private Game Reserve of the 50% deposit. A letter of confirmation will be sent confirming the reservation at the relevant 'Establishment' on receipt of the deposit, together with Bucklands Private Game Reserve's Indemnity form which must be signed and faxed / e-mailed to our central reservations office prior to arrival.

Indemnity
Bucklands Private Game Reserve, its holding company or any other associated company or trust, shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage to, any guest(s), or their property, caused through whatever nature, or by any acts, or any person(s). The person signing the confirmation will be held liable for payment of all outstanding invoices should any problem with payment occur. Please note that all guests are required to complete and sign Bucklands Private Game Reserve's indemnity form, prior to or on arrival at Bucklands Private Game Reserve.

Meals & Beverages
Bucklands Luxury Tented Camp and Bucklands Lodge serves brunch daily from 10:30 to 11:00 and high tea from 15:30, with Dinner served in the evening from 19:30. Lunch is by arrangement only. Beverages are excluded from our rates, however we do offer a fully stocked, residents only, bar at both Bucklands Lodge and Bucklands Luxury Tented Camp. Please notify our reservations office of special dietary and or beverage requirements prior to arrival - thank you.

 

Payment Methods
Internet transfer (EFT), and Visa/Master credit cards are accepted. Banking details will be provided with the proforma invoice for payment details. Please make payment / deposit and email through the proof of payment to our central reservations office at reservations@bucklandsreserve.co.za - thank you.

Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking 14 days after the proforma invoice has been issued. Please note the name of the person staying as a reference on the deposit slip. The balance is payable one month prior to arrival, or on departure, as stipulated on the proforma invoice. The reservation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date. Deposits are not refundable in the event of non arrival. No booking will be confirmed unless proof of payment, voucher or an order number has been received by our central reservations office.

Rate Policies & Structure
Please note that our rates are subject to change, without notice. Should you require rates in a foreign currency, kindly contact our central reservations office for assistance.

Smoking policy
Please note that all our rooms or tents at the 'Establishments' are non-smoking. There are designated areas for smoking.

Transfers & other activities
Transfers to and from Port Elizabeth or East London's Airport can be arranged, with prior arrangement. Should you wish to pre book any activities or transfers, please make the necessary arrangements with our central reservations office prior to arrival - thank you.
